Personal Success Story

Herbs for Melanoma

I have used herbs for 27 years, and for a long time I’ve been wanting to write and tell you the good luck I’ve had with an herbal treatment I made myself. I had melanoma on my right shoulder and had it cut out--then it went wild and I got a big hole going down my arm in the good flesh. I mixed one cup each of calendula, red clover, chapparal, ground ivy and nettles with enough hot water to make one cup of tea. Then I put in two spoonfuls of unpasteurized honey and brought it to a boil, which makes it a real sticky mess. I washed all sores with stinging nettle tea, as hot as I could bear, morning and night, then put the sticky mess on for the day, putting clean bandages on every day. In three weeks, I had this all healed up. I kept going to the doctor and he said, "Whatever you’re using, keep using it"--but he didn’t want to know what it was! Melanoma (the deadliest form of skin cancer) is very serious, so I was lucky to recover.
