by author Mairlyn Smith, Liz Pearson 1 lb (454 g) fresh organic or local asparagus, washed, woody ends snapped off Place asparagus spears on grill at right angles so they won’t fall through. Grill over medium heat for 2 minutes on one side. Roll over and continue grilling for another 2 minutes, or until you reach the level of doneness you prefer. Remove from barbecue. Whisk together lime juice and oil, sprinkle on cooked asparagus, and serve. Serves 4.
