Feeling a little green from the all the St. Patrick’s Day festivities? Boost your energy (and possibly soothe your tummy!) with this creamy avocado smoothie.
Avocados are full of healthy fats; vitamins A, D, E, and K; B vitamins; and soluble and insoluble fibre. They are also a good source of plant-based protein. One avocado has 18 essential amino acids and 4 g of protein.

Brazilian Avocado Smoothie2 cups (500 mL) unsweetened almond milk1 avocado, peeled and chopped1 Tbsp (15 mL) lemon juice1 tsp (5 mL) natural vanilla extract3 Tbsp (45 mL) wildflower honey4 ice cubes
Place all ingredients in blender and whirl until smooth. Taste and add more honey, if you wish.
Serves 2.
