[b]Salsa[/b]
4 Large Tomatoes, Diced
Few Sprigs of Cilantro, Minced
One Small Onion, Diced finely
1 Jalapeno Pepper, Seeded, Diced finely
1 Green Onion, Diced
1-2 Cloves of Garlic, Minced
1/2 a lime
Salt and Pepper to taste
Mix tomatoes, cilantro, small onion, jalapeno pepper, green onion, and garlic together in a small bowl. Squeeze lime on top of salsa and add salt and pepper to taste. Mix again.
[b]Pita Chips[/b]
2 Small Whole Wheat Pitas
1/4 Cup Parsley, Minced
1/4 Cup Melted Butter
Preheat oven for 200 degrees fahrenheit. Split the pitas open using a serrated knife. Cut pita into triangles but cutting pita as if you were cutting a pizza. Melt Butter. Mince parsley. Place pitas on non-greased baking tray. Spread butter on each pita, then sprinkle parsley. Place in oven for 8-10 minutes. Keep a close eye on the pita chips. Serve pita chips with salsa |
