Hippocrates said "let food be your medicine and medicine be your food."

It's our responsibility to educate ourselves and others that our body systems are not separate entities but that they work as a whole. If you have liver problems, medicinal herbs help cleanse the liver. What we need to teach is that if your liver is toxic you need to also clean up your gall bladder, the large and small intestines, bowels and digestive system. By treating just one major system, you're putting a band-aid on a much bigger problem.

Our bodies are what heal us; what we feed that body determines our level of wellness. Our health care (or rather sick care) is in great jeopardy. It's time to educate people that what they put in the hole under their nose will determine their level of health.
