I can never stay on a diet or good eating plan! I belong to a losing weight sensibily group but it never happens! I moved north about 1 hr away from North Bay so it is not easy to get exercise outdoors. It is always icy outside and weather crazy or nicer weather we need to worry about walking and bears. I moved here 7 years ago and still now weigh the same as when I moved here. I am up and down in weight but not any great change. I try writing down everything and do well at that and exercise with a tape but then we get visitors and it is lost again. My husband also is a fat eater and mostly a red meat eater so our meals are hard even though I do try to eat better and small portions.
There are so many so called good diet plans for losing weight! It is very confusing! Any good ideas would be appreciated!

Sure, post your weight and you current diet. E.G. meals and meal times and I'll gladly take a look for you.
You should be very proud of trying to change, so think positive, and maybe we can unearth some new impetus or ideas to help you :). |

You have to make sure that your diet plan is something that you can live with. If it is something that you really hate, you are destine to break it.

I have now lost 100 pounds, and still have 30 more to go. First thing you must know it doesnt happen overnight. However never give up. I personally do NOT diet. I hate the word DIET, I refuse to DIET and believe it is very unhealthy to DIET. Alternatively, I eat healthy and every day I try to make a new healthy choice to add into my life.. I ie.. switching butter to margarine (no transfats), cutting from 2% milk to 1%, instead of chips I choose veggie chips, instead of full fat cheese I now use lowfat cheese. If you change everything at once we are sure to find it to difficult. But if you change one thing every time you shop or cook or each day it becomes a "way of life" and that is the BEST way to LOSE weight. Keep moving some how some way to as it also boils down to a simple math equation (you must burn off more than you eat). So even 10 min of excercise at a time is helpful, pace the house, walk up the stairs or better yet invest in a treadmill (cheap one from walmart). Watch tv while walking your way to fitness! Hope some of this helps/inspires.
Cheers. |
