Now here is a weird question that probably calls for an expert: can brushing a child's tongue as part of his daily dental care damage his brain? this is about a child whose baby teeth are already all out. I know it sounds ridiculous but someone is arguing with me that brushing my child's tongue is killing some of his brain's cells which would supposedly explain his strange behavior lately; sometimes he throws very big ''tantrums'' more like VIOLENT explosions of nerves where he would throw himself on the ground and just scream as if hurt. it does scares me and it doesn't seem normal, but he is 3 and that is usually the time when children experience a lot of frustration so much they can't manage. and although it is very unlikely that his tongue brushing is to be blamed just for my peace of mind I am curious to know if there is any truth to this.
please reply only if you know something. otherwise I know it sounds silly.
