I wonder if I am not the only woman alive looking to reduce my libido. Doing goggle searches is just a joke. Why ? because I am a widow, I am managing to deal with grief and depression issues, but the sexual frustration is just too cruel. I had a very successful sexual relationship and 5 years later nearing 40, the sexual frustrations just won't go away. Sadly I cannot see myself in another sexual relationship for quite a while. I should mention as well that my periods stopped after my partners death and I have had only 1 or 2 a year since. I have 2 children. Any suggestions other than cold showers would be very much appreciated.

I hope you won't mind me commenting.

I don't know quite what to say, but I will say I am really sorry to hear about your situation, and I appreicate your problem must be difficult sometimes to deal with, and I really do wish you well.

You seem like a really genuine and warm person, just because of the way you worded your frustrations. Some could sound resentful and embittered for such loss, which you don't.

I think in the future, if you did want to persue a relationship like you have done before, you would probably have no problems, finding another person to belong with, and for all you have to come, and all you wish to still do, at a still young age, I really wish you well, and say keep your chin up, keep believing in your Head and Heart to guide you, and GOOD LUCK.
