Thimerosal in flu vaccines

I just read David Crowe’s article, “Thimerosal: This vaccine preservative may increase risk of autism,” from the October, 2004 issue of alive Magazine. Great article.

I was just questioned by a journalist at the Toronto Star as to whether thimerosal is still used in flu vaccines. It is my understanding that there has been no change since your article and that thimerosal is still there. Am I right?

Also, is there any aluminum in the vaccines?

My understanding is that all multi-dose flu vaccines still contain thimerosal, but there may be some single-dose vials available that do not.

It appears that aluminum is still widely used (e.g. http://www.altcorp.com/ DentalInformation/aluminumvaccines
.htm) as a vaccine “adjuvant” (to increase the immune response); however one would have to look at the detailed product label for an individual type of vaccine to determine this for sure.

Even the single use "thimerosal-free" vials of the flu-shot still contain thimerosal in trace amounts from the processing.

Whenever I go to my GP in fall or winter, he always pushes me to get the flue vaccine and frowns when I decline (which I find both offensive and irritating as a patient, in light of what I know about it). Just Google the subject and draw your own conclusions.

I think you're better off loading up on a good multi-vitamin, C, saurekraut and chicken soup. You couldn't pay me to willingly allow myself to have such poison injected into my system. I'd probably be far sicker from the vaccine, than had I let nature take it's course, with fever, nausea, stuffy nose and all.

Also, there are many different strains of flu which are forever mutating, so even if you did get the flu vaccine, it still wouldn't guarantee that you wouldn't get the flu.

So imagine taking all that poison into your system, for nothing. In the end, you may end up worse off than had you never taken it in the first place.

The female physician said to me that Thimersol (sp) wasn't in shots anymore and hasn't been for a long time. Was she lying or mistaken?

I told her about my Autism and my worry that sometime similiar or like that was in the Tetanus shot.

Is there?

Hello, I am the mom of a 16 year old boy with "Autism". Paul fell into autism quite suddenly within days of his 18 month vaccinations...diagnosed at age 22 months. Paul Lost ALL speech after a tetanus shot at age 3. He has spoken a total of 11 words on 3 separate occasions in 13 years. My kids are vaccine exempt as am I. The flu vaccine does have mercury and none of us have ever had one. We use natural/homeopathic supplements/treatments for all illnesses. My daughters know full-well the dangers of vaccinations if you are genetically susceptible to inability to excrete the MANY disgusting toxins in EVERY vaccination...including, but not limited to mercury and aluminum. 909shot.com
