• Orange peel contains a powerful compound called hesperidin, which has a laundry list of benefits. Researchers have found that hesperidin helps reduce inflammation, may provide some UVB protection, and may even help with hyperpigmentation—in other words, it may help improve skin tone and reduce dark spots.
• Orange peel has many other functions in skin care products, and is reported to help bind products, make them absorbent, and help stabilize their consistency, control the thickness of products, make products smell great, and help condition skin. That’s a pretty powerful natural ingredient!
• Last but not least, it can leave the skin feeling detoxified, renewed, and refreshed.
