Plant-Powered and Kid-Friendly!

Recipes for the whole family

One of the best things we can do for young children is to establish healthy eating habits. I recommend including plant-based foods at every meal and snack. Eating a variety of foods from the plant kingdom ensures children get plenty of vitamins, minerals, fibre, and phytonutrients. According to research around the world, children who are raised on a variety of plant-based foods have a reduced risk of obesity. And, reducing the risk of obesity lowers the risk of heart disease, cancer, and diabetes later in their lives. While this is just common sense, implementing healthy habits isn’t always easy. The key is to make sure the meals we create are just as delicious as they are nutritious.
