Berry Muesli

1 1/2 cups (375 mL) rolled oats
1 1/4 cups (310 mL) milk or almond milk
1/4 cup (60 mL) raisins
2 tart apples
1 Tbsp (15 mL) sunflower seeds, slightly roasted
1 cup (250 mL) berries in season (red or black currants, straw berries, raspberries, black berries or blueberries)
1 Tbsp (15 mL) honey
2 Tbsp (30 mL) lemon juice

Soak rolled oats and raisins in milk. Cover and let sit overnight. In the morning, wash apples in warm water. Core and finely grate apples with skin. Add to rolled oats. Add sunflower seeds, berries, honey and lemon juice. Mix well and serve for breakfast. Yields four generous helpings.
