Based on the Italian aperitif the spritz, this non-alcoholic kombucha version brings warming ginger, cherry juice, and orange together for a kid- and adult-friendly special occasion red beverage.
Ice, as needed
1/2 cup (125 mL) ginger kombucha or ginger beer
1/4 cup (60 mL) unsweetened cherry juice
2 Tbsp (30 mL) blood orange juice or orange juice
1/4 cup (60 mL) club soda
Candied orange rind or orange peel, to garnish
Fill cocktail shaker or tall drinking glass with a handful of ice. Add all ingredients except candied orange rind or orange peel, and stir for 30 seconds, until shaker or glass is ice cold. Pour into 2 glasses, garnish with candied orange rind or orange peel, and enjoy.
