#2013alive: Prep for Buying Natural Products Next Week

For week 1 of July #2013alive, we ditched our cars in favour of walking, biking, or taking transit. Now, we’re getting ready for next week - choosing natural products.

We’re nearly done week 1 of July’s 12 Months of Wellness, in which we ditched our cars and took an eco-friendly alternative for at least one errand we’d normally do this week. Now, we’re prepping for the next week of our eco-friendly adventure, where we’ll be swapping out the conventional products we use in favour of natural, eco-friendly versions.

Here, we’re talking about items such as cleaning products and cosmetics—things that we use every day without thinking much of. But many of these products have some dark secrets, as they contain chemicals that are harmful to our health and the environment.

If you’re wondering how to prep for the week ahead, we have a few suggestions.
